Rice Krispie Summer Dippers

Today I tried a fun and easy way to make any hot summer day feel a little bit cooler.



3 tablespoons of butter

1 package of Jet-Puffed Marshmallows (about 10 oz.)

6 cups of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies

18 wooden Popsicle sticks

1 1/2 cups of semi sweet chocolate morsels

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

Multi colored sprinkles (optional)


1- Melt butter and marshmallows in large saucepan over low heat.

2- Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Krispies.

3- Using wax paper press the Rice Krispies into 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan and let cool.

4- Cut into 18 3 x 2 inch bars.

5- Push in sticks at the base of each bar.

6- In a microwave-safe bowl melt the chocolate and oil on high for 1- 1 1/2 minutes (stir every 30 seconds).

7- Dip bars into chocolate and decorate.

8- Let cool until chocolate sets.
