5 tips to Creating an Organized Workspace

1.) A workspace needs to be a warm and welcoming space that makes you not necessarily exited to work but not upset that you have to work. I find that lights, flowers, and candles create that for me but some may like something more plain. Its all personal preference.

2.) Don’t ever clutter your workspace. You need to have space to work and coming to a cluttered workspace will most likely make your motivation drop.

3.) Have a plan for what you need to accomplish that day and set up your workspace for those things. For example maybe you need to take photos that day so set up your tripod, camera, lighting source, and the items you need to take pictures of the night before or day of to help keep you on track and help motivate you.

4.) Creating a comfortable workspace. I prefer to have natural lighting around my workspace it helps with focus, taking better pictures, and more. Others may focus more when a fan is running, or maybe even when listening to music.

5.) Having the right supplies on hand at all times. I have to have a notebook or paper, pencils, pens, and highlighters on hand at all times. Others may have jobs that call for something like a ruler or protractor. But having the correct items on hand at all times will help with stress and more time working than running around trying to find those items.

The other day I tried the Spa…ah Detoxifying Face Mud with rose clay.

This is a great product to use to extract all of the unwanted oils from your skin. The package has a resealable lid for multiple uses.

To apply you start with makeup free skin and apply the product to your T zone. Then you take any gentle moisturizer to help spread the product across your face. Let the mask sit and harden then rinse and apply your favorite toner and moisturizer.

7-12-17 Day in my Life


1// We first went to Starbucks, I got a pink drink and a chonga bagel.

2// We then went to a pottery painting class I painted a blue bird and a mug.


3// After that we went to dinner. I got pasta and a fruit bowl.


4// Next we had ice cream I got coconut and Carmel.


5// Finally we went down to the water front and went on a walk.


“She has better clothes than me”, “They have a better phone than me”, “That person has more likes”…

These are just a few of the things we catch ourselves saying from time to time. But this only leads to a never ending dark nightmare that becomes reality and it’s called comparison.

Although you might think someone has a better this or a better that they might be thinking the exact same thing as you.

The mind has an odd and funny way of working. You can train your mind just as you can train your body. If you exercise your mind to compare than it will eventually do it automatically just as you can train to have better posture.

So simply not comparing yourself to others will train your mind to not exercise that part of your brain.

Take this into consideration the next time you catch yourself comparing you to others.
